In the Smokey air of the Hardrock casino beside Council Oak you will find the tiny Asian restaurant. My mother in law wanted to celebrate her birthday there, and with close family, that made the party 9 people. This restaurant does not take reservations. We arrived at 7:30 for dinner and the wait was 40 mins. They had to wait for tables to empty out before seating us. We were seated, It ended up a 9pm dinner. I'm pregnant and tried to stay outside the casino to avoid the Hard Rock Smokey air. No benches to sit to wait either, just machines and gambling chairs. The bathrooms are the public Hard Rock bathrooms next door (same for Council Oak) . The waitress was friendly and made jokes. We ordered appetizers, 3 orders of Spring Rolls comes 2 in an order. Crispy and delish, sweet dipping sauce Like other reviews we received our appetizers of 3 orders of Calamari the same time our main dishes came out. Defeats the purpose of appetizer and was left over. My husband and I ordered the Beef Chow Fun which is flat noodles in a Brown sauce, and Chicken Fried Rice taking advice from Yelp reviews. The chicken fried rice is a must! One of the best I've tried. It's so soft and tender really made perfectly. My mother in law and friend ordered pho soup. It was just like how pho tastes, but my mother in law had no idea it had that "pho flavor" and wasn't a fan. Other dishes were ordered like seafood with no Crab meat (it's the fake Krab kind) , with extra shrimp instead. We all left full and satisfied. It wasn't overly salty or greasy like Asian foods can be. I don't recommend this place for parties more than a handful. The turnover is quite fast here. The prices are high compared to other comparable restaurants. I did enjoy the holiday entertainment at the Hard Rock, and the live singers on the outdoor stage. Browsing nearby stores is also a fun way to digest.

I'm giving a poor review not for the food but for the customer service (or lack thereof) that I received there. I was there on May 10. I had went down early to check availability. We had a party of 11 and were told it would be about 30-35 minutes. They said we would basically have to wait until one side of the restaurant cleared up (it's a small place), okay fine. About 45 minutes later my party was waiting in front. A party of about 8 people got up from one side of the restaurant so I thought great, it should only be a few more minutes. I went to wash my hands, and came back to find they had filled those seats! So I asked what happened and the hostess told me "oh most likely they were here before you", that was just a flat out lie... remember now about an hour has passed. Then I guess he was the manager, came out and offered no apology, he told me "she made a mistake, what do you want me to do". Bottom line, they made NO effort to accommodate us. They didn't care because since they were busy they didn't need us. I'm thinking to myself did they expect us to wait until 11 random people sitting in the same section got up simultaneously in order to seat us?!?! If they would have just come straight out and said that it was too busy and they couldn't seat us, that would have been fine. Instead to have us wait for an hour, lie and be rude is just unacceptable. We ended up going to Kuro, one of the new restaurants at the hotel and that was actually pretty good although a bit pricier.

I will start off by saying that this place is either a hit or miss depending on what you order, there is really no in between with this place...& it could be a bit of a rip off here. I love pho & ever since moving back down to FL, this place has the best pho I've had down here. But some of their other dishes are questionable. My boyfriend ordered their $16 plate of pork, chicken, & beef fried rice. It was good, but had barely any meat in it & the portion they gave him was not worth a whopping $16....we don't mind paying for things that are worth the price, but that just wasn't acceptable. The lady at the table next to us ordered the same thing & she was unsatisfied with it as well...especially for the price. I would come here again but I would be very selective in what I order. Also, this place is small so seating is very crammed, we were practically sitting on top of the people on both sides of us. I actually felt kind of bad for the people on the left of us because it felt like we were on a double date with them lol. I know there's not much they can do about that, but damn that makes for an awkward date night...so don't take a date here, especially not a first date.

its rare that I love a place as much as I do this restaurant. I have to admit that the first time we were there we were not impressed, having said that it was their first week. Since then this has been one of my favorite dinner places. The Pho is fantastic, the salt and pepper shrimp is the best. Excellent food, and lately excellent service.

I think BOL is not that bad as people's reviews. The restaurant looks nice and clean. The host and the waitress were really nice although we got in there about 10 minutes before they closed at 3am. The food tastes good. It is a little bit pricy, $14 for a bowl of rice noodles; however, I do think that is a reasonable price since this restaurant is located inside the casino and their business hour is long.

This place is always a go to for me when I'm working in the area. It's inside the Hard Rock and while there are other options there I've honestly never been disappointed and don't feel awkward when it's just me eating. I started with the fried shrimp, and had General Tso chicken. I can't say I'd order the shrimp again, they were like frozen shrimp wrapped in phyllo. They were just ok, seemed to be lacking flavor and size. (The summer rolls on the other hand are absolutely amazing didn't have this time but I will continue to get those in the future) The generals Tso chicken was perfect, I asked for it extra spicy and they always hit the mark. One complaint, I want more lol, the portions are actually good but I could eat so much more of it. I have never had dessert so I can't comment on it but I will say, I can't wait to go back!!!

Tastiest Thai food I've had in a while. The pho noodle soup was amazing. The generous portion was served with a side of vegetables to mix in. They included celentro, basil, jalapeño peppers, bean sprouts. The chicken in the soup was delicious. The rice noodles were plentiful. My friend ordered chicken and broccoli. They actually didn't have it listed on the menu but beef and broccoli was. They changed it to chicken without any problems. Overall, I strongly recommend this Restaraunt.

Straighforward asian cuisine in the Hard Rock Casino. There is better Vietnamese cuisine near my house but this was a good central location to meet friends for dinner. Not a bad spot to grab a bite at the Hard Rock

It was so delicious that I went back the next day. Ordered chicken and shrimp wonton pho, Cantonese lobster, shrimp with asparagus, and shrimp fried rice...finished it off with two chrysanthemum teas. I've found a new favorite

This was one of those meals for which I wish I could have a "do-over". Hopefully I can give you a clear, fair, honest picture of what this place is like, so I can spare you from having the same feeling. This is a small restaurant located right off the casino floor. The menu looked simple enough, and appealing. We weren't expecting anything fancy. We also were not expecting "food court" quality food. I ordered the pan fried noodles with seafood. Not a good choice. The seafood was low quality, frozen. The meal had little flavor. My husband's pad thai was no better. Flavorless! Then came the bill, which made me realize something...I don't look at prices when I order. Usually that is not a problem, but I just THREW AWAY $24.95 on a pretty lousy, food court meal, which was worth on the high side, $15. Not a good feeling. If you read any of my other 300+ reviews, you will be hard-pressed to find any in which I complain about prices. Man, I hate over paying for lousy food! The food court is only steps away, and you can have better food there for half the price. Council Oak is just steps away as well, and although it's an expensive restaurant, you can have some of their lighter fare, appetizer, salad, etc, for not much more than what we spent here. I'm adding this place to my "never again" list.

I can't wait to visit here again. My family concurred. We came here to celebrate my grandmother-in-law's and by husband's bday and all left very pleased. The staff were very nice and courteous, and made sure our visit there was comfortable and accommodating. The ambiance of the place was very nice, clean and modern. Aside from ordering food from the menu, I brought a cake for us to sing happy birthday. Not only did they cut and plate the cake for us and light candles, but they also sang happy birthday aloud at our table with us. I know many restaurants do that, but I still felt grateful. The food was impeccable; we ordered the vegetable spring rolls, the shrimp dumplings, beef and chicken fried rice, Kung Pao chicken, and several other dishes. Each one of them were great; tasted fresh, hot and full of flavor. The prices were surprisingly great too! I can't wait to return.

Service was good. If anyone tells you this place is authentic, they have yet to try what authentic Oriental food tastes like. It's a place you can eat at if you have some cravings for oriental food. The beef chow fun was very oily, thick and the beef was chewy and dried. The salt and pepper squid was also too thick, over floured and undercooked. The shrimp fried rice was pretty bad. The shrimp had no taste, rice was dried but loaded with soy sauce, yet tasteless. My question is, who cooked the food?? And here you have people believing that this is authentic. The chinese food from the food court probably has more flavor than this place. #smh

Okay the food is kind of terrible, but hey what do you really expect from the only "Asian" fusion restaurant in the middle of a casino in Miami. I got the shrimp pad thai which was WAY too salty. My cousin got the clams which were apparently also very salty. My friend got the pad see ew (wide noodles) which wasn't bad, probably the best dish they had. The rest got the beef noodle soup which was edible I suppose, considering they were picky noodle eaters from china. Or because we were all famished by the time the food was finally served--yes, as others mentioned the service is painstakingly slow!

My husband and I used to frequent this resto (say every Friday's?) but won't be coming back after our terrible experience this on 2/20, Friday. We waited over 30 mins to be seated while there were 2 open tables staring in front of us! The hosts were faces that we've never seen before so I go over and ask, why are we still waiting when there are two seats that are open? The hostess responded by, those are for parties of 3+, I asked, you'd rather have 2 open seats for rather than getting them occupied? We should've left by then but I wanted a bowl of pho and since we had already waited a while we decided to stay. I'm rambling here, so. My pho came cold after a long wait so we asked for the manager. My husband ordered a beef dish, we have picked out the veggies and had some of the meat when he bit into a piece and saw that the meat was red! The manager Vuhlentina came and I asked her to reheat my pho it, husband complained about his dish and she asked do u want me to ask the chef to recook it? My husband was over it and he told her to just take it. When my pho was returned to me it just looked gross so I asked for a fresh one. There were six pieces of meat in my bowl when in was returned again to me and looked overlooked, I'm pretty sure that it was from the previous bowl. Bleh. When we were done we asked Vuhlentina for the general manager's number so we can let them know about our experience. She handed a business card with just the restaurant's info. My husband wanted a direct number for the GM and she refused to give it to us. She ended up being on the phone for more than 10 mins, knowing that we were still waiting for her. Wtf? We just wanted to get on with our night! When she finally got back to us, she claimed that that was the owner that she was on the phone with and that he wanted our contact info so in her words, "you can be compensated in some sort." I told her, we don't want to be compensated in some sort, we already paid for our gross meal, we just need to speak with your GM. We left after my husband gave his number, she wanted a name, my husband said have him call me. Well, it's been 3 weeks and still no call. We still go to the Hard Rock but we will NEVER give them our business EVER again! Mediocre food, atrocious service.

The Bol is quite frankly the best casino restaurant I have ever been to. The quality is authentic and the prices are very reasonable for casino fare. Service is quick and efficient. Simply enjoy playing a little at the casino and either stop over for a quick bite or take home some of this delicious Asian cuisine.

Service was horrible. It took 20 minutes for a server to even ask us about drinks. Then another 30 minutes to get our food. Was never asked about refills or if we needed anything else. Just gave us a check and disappeared.

ok I've taken noodle dishes out to the poker room a few times. They were ok but nothing special. Today I ate in for the first time ok Vietnamese spring roll and excellent meat Pho! Portions a little smaller and prices a drop higher then most Chinese restaurants, but hey your in the middle of a Casino.

I like spring roll. The reason I like spring roll here is because the mints is fresh and the slice of pork is very thin so that it is easy to chew . Use machine to cut the pork I think. Restaurant is very clean.

Right inside hardrock, super convenient.. And the food is good. They have some solid appetizers, and if you like kung pao, mandarin chicken and things like that you will enjoy this. Huge soup bowls too. Pretty small place, modern.

Maybe they've gotten better since they opened because I didn't think it was as bad as all the reviews said it was. Service was good - fast, without being rushed, and attentive. As for people complaining about the wait - did ya see how small the place was?? And for the complaints the price- it's a casino...gotta expect it to be jacked up a little. And the for the person who complained about the General Tso's chicken - the broccoli isn't really part of the dish, but a garnish...And people, the bathroom is in the casino (literally right outside of the restaurant) and I'm pretty sure none of the other restaurants inside the actual casino have bathrooms - I know Council Oak doesn't and it's a higher-end restaurant. Overall, I would return.

Third time here, have to say the pho is a real winner at this place. About as authentic as it gets in south Florida. Chinese food is decent as well, tried one of my friends dishes. Def a good place to snack while in the casino

Very slow service, there is no bathroom, rude servers, they served me food with nuts when I have a severe allergic reaction to them. They returned with the wrong order after I mentioned my allergy for the second time. I hate giving bad reviews to new businesses but this restaurant deserves a 1 star rating.

We were a party of four. One main dish was served, then after a few minutes two others were served, then after a few minutes more finally the last dish came. The Pad Thai was tasteless. The seafood Pho was overly infused with basil. There's no reason to go back to this restaurant again.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

The waitress likes to double charge your debit card and then the manager is a complete a-hole and tells you there is nothing he can do about it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Portions a little smaller and prices a drop higher then most Chinese restaurants, but hey your in the middle of a Casino.

terrible food terrible service....manager is an idiot...nobody should wait 15 minutes to have a server take their order when seated in an empty restaurant!

I went during the soft opening, Had to wait a long time to get service, oter tables around us were served even though we had been waiting there longer. Maybe they've gotten better, but my experience was not a good one.

I like spring roll. The reason I like spring roll here is because the mints is fresh and the slice of pork is very thin so that it is easy to chew . Use machine to cut the pork I think. Restaurant is very clean.

I loved my beef chow fun. The noodles are chunky and soft. We also tried the salt and pepper shrimp and that was the tables favorite. The place is kinda small though.

Good service, tasty food. Shrimp was good in seafood pho, but only one scallop in entire bowl. Good spring rolls. Very limited beer selection.

Best Won Ton Soup I ever had! A bit pricey but well worth it. It was a meal by itself, can't wait to try the other dishes, everything look very appetizing.

Goood food! Must try the Viet spring rolls and the salt & pepper shrimp. So yumm. Will definitely go back to try other dishes. Diane was our server and she was great!
